Once in a very great while a company does the right thing!

That company in this case was Fed Ex!

They paid for a girl dying from an inoperable brain cancer to be brought home by air ambulance to die surrounded by her family.

It brought tears to my eyes.

It's the kind of thing that we should do for each other but so rarely do.

My hat off to Fed Ex for what they did!

Another Mayberry for THE List!

We spent the morning walking the waterfront here in Duluth, and LOVED it. Such a great little town, and not so little.

As far as we could see at first blush, it has everything we want, and more, and the people seem very nice. I am a little concerned about how my legs will handle biking with these hills, but there are lots of bike routes.

I understand the winters are pretty severe, but maybe that's just an adjustment to the wardrobe.
