Mortgage backed securities went on quite a ride yesterday. Following the 5year treasury note auction which saw only decent demand, market participants hurried to sell their fixed income investments ahead of the fed statement. This led to MBS moving much lower and falling below the current range. However, following the Fed statement which held no surprises the market quickly changed course and MBS went on quite a rally. DH has been ill with probably stomach flu since Monday afternoon. As of last night, his fever (101+) is gone, but he's still pretty weak. We remain here in Fond du Lac, WI while he recovers.

Bigun continues to grow, play, and demands my attention -- a great reminder that life goes on, despite our stuff. I wish our eleven year old Lhasa would accept him, so she could take some of the play time, but that doesn't appear likely after three weeks. Yes, it HAS been Three Weeks!
