Born and raised in Pittsburgh , PA area - now I'm "down under"

;) Hello This is the first time I am blogging here! I look forward to expressing myself on various topics anonomously.

Politics has been stressful for me ever since before the 2008 pres. election. :( Opposing people have been in a hate - mode. It's still going on, even after the election. Can you guess which party I am in? I intend to go "independent".
This hatred is going to cause another civil war if...

Everything Real Estate in Houston & Surrounding Areas

Posted 06-06-2009 at 02:32 PM by psampang (Back To School In Two Weeks!)

Just starting to blog about real estate happenings, events, milestones in Houston as I see & experience them. Related contributions, comments & questions are welcome.

I was at a closing last week & was excited by the number of transactions that the Title Company was handling. Imagine a closing schedule of 6:30 pm & I was told there were others after us. The office was still fully staffed at 7pm so I commented to the closer that business looks good & she said yes,...

Stadium!!!!

Posted 06-06-2009 at 10:27 AM by Papillion1707

Well I don't totally agree with building two stadiums, but I am excited that Papillion is going to be getting one. LaVista was too expensive and Belleview just simply doesn't have enough room in the area that they wanted to build in. Its going to be interesting to see how much the area will devellop in the next 5-7 years lots of big development on the way I hope. In other papillion news I am furious that they are resurfacing 370. It was perfectly fine with barley any cracks, but oh well, we'll manage!...

Changing The Business Model
I wanted to talk directly to those soldiers in the automotive industry at the dealership level. Those men and women who have made a conscience decision to maintain their positions through these tough economic times, when our industry (Automotive) appears to be the one hit the worst in all this mess! I have been monitoring our industry since 1995

• always Internet,
• always communications
• always market behavior

I have...

The proper coughing evangelist gives me a "tract"!

Posted 06-05-2009 at 10:30 PM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)
Updated 06-05-2009 at 11:13 PM by carlos123 (Added a couple of funny comments...)

Today I spent most of my day travelling around by bus and trolley. One of my favorite things to do when I have enough bus fare and time to get out of my trailer and go exploring.

Mind you my day was not entirely about exploring. The main purpose of going out by bus today was to pick up a check from a company that I did some computer work for (a job that ended up being less than what I had originally thought I would get from it).

But on the way there and afterwards...
