Travels Around North America

Yesterday morning we were camped outside of Clinton, NJ. The park was a cacophony of birds' songs, and I took my binoculars out after daybreak to see what I could see. Everywhere we go, I discover birds I've never seen before and appreciate the richness they bring to my life. That morning, I'd read a thread a woman wrote about what to do with a bird that had been keeping her up all night with its singing. Her respondents all seemed to think the best thing was for her to scare it off, or kill it....

#7 He Blew Up My Computer

Posted 06-08-2009 at 07:17 PM by evets (Supernatural Disasters are Satan)

Somewhere fairly early on he blew up the CPU on my computer and after I had that fixed, my CRT monitor blew up while I was sitting there the smell and sight of smoke rising from it. That was scary.

He then using the fact that I thought the spirit channeling was god to refuse me a computer until December 2007. I never even received it until 2008 and I was a daily computer user. I thought not having a cumputer made sense as it would have given the military too much insight into my perspective....

Properly interpreting the Bible.

Posted 06-08-2009 at 02:34 PM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)
Updated 06-08-2009 at 02:36 PM by carlos123 (Changed a smiley to a smacky :)...)

I was reading John 3 this morning and thought I would write a post on what I believe to be the proper way to interpret the Bible in part, to shed some light on why it is that so many Christians believe so many different things despite reading the same book .

Mind you...I don't have a corner on how to properly interpret the Bible but I do believe that the things I say below make sense and would, if followed, result in far less disagreement than is presently found in Christian...

Pittsburgh, PA - mising my town!

Posted 06-08-2009 at 12:55 PM by hawkeyemom

20 years ago we moved to south-central Virginia from Pittsburgh, with our 4 schoolage children and lots of hopes and dreams. Everything is so different here in VA---But PA people are the best! If you've moved away, you know what I'm talkin' about.

Some people here are still in the civil war mode...still hate yankees, still rude to us and southern hospitality is not the way of life for them....
