Most rental properties in Teaneck are old complexes located on and off major roadways. These buildings are mostly condos and the owners have not made any improvements to the units between floor and ceilings. Mom's Day

This morning I fly to Tucson to spend a week with my mom. She's 81 later this month, legally blind with MD, and on oxygen 24/7. Despite those obstacles and her heart condition, she still manages to volunteer at the local zoo on Sundays, sometimes on Wednesdays, and swims whenever the winds permit. (Wind takes her breath away, like a baby.)

Mom and I have had a tenuous relationship since I grew old enough to start being independent. Somehow, I think she thought I would be her baby girl...

Everything Eventually Works Out Well Despite US

Last Sunday morning I started a different anti-depressant with drastically bad results that left me curled on my bed with my eyes closed, clutching my stomach for the major portion of the day. Weird how when one's head and stomach are both spinning how easy it is to remain present.

I realized (as I lay there for the nearly twelve hours) that there was nothing that I really had to do. The world would keep moving along -- and succeeding toward the best possible outcome Without Me....
