Well, I promised myself I would not place the tomato plants so late again this year; unfortunately, here I am, with the plants still in the garage getting watered and warmed!!

The snow is still on Peavine and we are expecting another record cold week....hoping the warmer weather slated from Friday forward will be enough!

I'm planting on Friday afternoon ---- anyone else have their gardens in yet??

Bigun and I have been up since 4:30. He was ready to play, play, play, having only walked a combined 60 minutes yesterday. (Dad's gone fishin' for the week, so Big' is hanging with me at the office -- walks are catch as catch can.)

I told him we'd go for a walk as soon as we had daylight, but it's raining, and so I gave him a chew stick, instead. Ninety minutes of gnawing on rawhide seems to have tired him out, for now.

I am glad for the rains because of my newly planted...
