EH and I talked on the phone and on Facebook. We were always going to meet up for coffee. It was a small world, knew the same people and places. All of this through a forum.

lily lady and I were both dispatchers and one time. It was the cancer forum that we crossed paths. She was another cream of the crop best that benefited city-data.

I remember that ElkHunter was always a dependable, thoughtful commenter in the mod forum. He was an active moderator who wasn't afraid to share his opinions on moderating. Most folks here won't know how much he did behind the scenes to shape policy and help other moderators make these forums a place that folks would want to visit.

Best wishes to his family.

RIP Elk Hunter.

I am always concerned when I do not see a posting from some of the regulars. In fact, last night I DM'd two people whom I have not heard from in quite a while. Still waiting to hear back and hoping that they are doing well and just busy.

Archaeologist

Mooseketeer?

Her CD profile

https://www.city-data.com/forum/membe...eer-80846.html

12/05/1967 - 07/08/2013

Actually I found her CD profile last year and became concerned with her hiatus. Then I googled her birthdate (which is visible in her profile), location and occupation/job for the keyword and shocked as the first Google suggestion is that link. Many of the information provided in her profile match with those in the forementioned link!

Condolences for her family

Read this earlier and wanted to believe it wasn't her but I think you must be right alarm 6. Thank you for letting people know. I always enjoyed posting with Mooseketeer and am heartsick at this sad news.

So if I wanted to use the deadmansswitch to email, what address would it be sent to here?
I have made a couple of friends on this site, and would want them to know. TY

As far as I know, someone would need to access your account here on CD and send a direct message to Marka or Yac about your demise. I believe the Senior Mods do want to know, and they would tell whomever is contacting them just what is needed.

Anyway, that's the plan I have set up for myself.
