Why on earth did they close it, there was nothing too horrible in it except for one poster calling another poster's links unclean....

I tivo'ed the show not for SP...but for the scenery and a chance to learn more about Alaska. I have now lost interest due to her grating voice and completely insincere statements. She is a media *****. Pure and simple. The last straw was the promo for this week's show with Kate Gosselin and her brood. What does that possibly have to due with Alaska??

When it comes to huntin' and cookin', Sarah is no Granny.

Sarah has moose stew from a can. Granny has fresh vittles like possum shanks, pickled hog jowls, gizzards, stewed squirrel, and smoked crawdads.

Ewwww Doggies, now that's some good eatin'.

Many animals in Alaska give birth to litters. Kate gave birth to a litter. That's the connection.

Why is it that the complainers get what they want, and always get to override the majority? What kind of precedent does that set in this country? The last 10 years or more it seems that the extreme easily-offended whiners have more rights than the average citizen, which is contrary to how things should be. This country caters to the wrong thing. In Alaska and elsewhere kids can't even do many fun Christmas projects, or bring home-baked items to school, store bought only. But Sarah Palin goes to the opposite extreme and gave school kids cookies to fight the new health rules, not waiting for parental consent and checking for food allergies...I guess it is hard to draw the line in knowing what to do.

A certain poster there, who is an idjit of the first order and obviously has some sort of sordid girl crush on the ex gov., has learned the "art" of "bait and report". It's fun though, because all you've got to do is breathe Palin's name in some percieved wrong octave and she goes off like a rocket.

Because they make the most noise. That's especially true in politics. Once the majority finally realizes that kicking back and relaxing isn't going to get them what they want, things will change.

A squeaky wheel makes the most noise, and whiners are like squeaky wheels.
