holy cow that lady has BALLS! (big brass ones too!)

Great speech. I am really looking forward to her debate with ole windbagBiden.
We have seen she can deliver the punches...but can she take them? and will Bindens jabs just glance off her chin or will give her a black eye? (here's hoping she gives him two!!)

Who knew that the VP picks could have this much hoopla. Obama missed the boat, he needed some young go getter gov or mayor to really vamp up the change he was promissing. Not some ole goat DC insider windbag!

I missed her speech but I saw highlights on the news and I'm rooting for her in my heart. So many people are talking about her being the next Pres in possibly 4 years. I dont' think people have been this excited in a while. And her strength, her personality, her integrity is genuine. Thank you Alaska.

As has been posted elsewhere, adding Palin to the ticket has lobbed a powerful grenade into the current battle of the culture war in the US. I just hope that her name on the ticket and more speeches like the recent one is what it takes to put the wind back into the sails of the conservatives.

This election isn't over, not by a long shot, no matter what the biased media would have us believe. They've had their knee pads on for Obama for so long they're starting to believe their own hype.
We wish you luck with that!

The only biased media (televised, anyway) I've seen is Fox.

I did as well!!! My favorite quote from her speech, all though many, this one I really liked and gave a big ole thumbs up to:

“But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion,” she said. “I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country.”

Why do I believe this of her more than I do of any other politician? (I don't)

I think she did a good job last night (and I'm not a fan) but honestly, it was a speech written by a professional writer. I need more than that to have confidence in her.

I personally am thrilled with Mac's choice. For once I feel like I can vote for someone who really understands what life is like as a working Mom!
