You all should be quite proud of your governor! She was VERY impressive tonight. I think Obama's lead is gone! I'm on board now 110%.

Yes, Sarah Palin did us ALL proud!

What you saw on the TV screen is REALLY WHO SHE IS. I only noted a few spots where it seemed she might have been following a speechwriters' script.

I can't type here what a few friends have already emailed me, heehee, but you can guess

I have never been transfixed by a candidate in my life as an American...I agree, she did wonderfully. I don't know her or her politics, but she was impressive.

Yeah I agree, she was fantastic this evening. I'm not surprised though, I really can see why McCain chose her and I feel she is what's going to ultimately help keep Obama out of the White House. I also feel she will become President one day as well, but for now Vice President it will be.

You Alaskans have a great governor, you should be proud of her tonight and where she is going, and what she will help do for this country.

I also agree, I thought she was an honest breath of fresh air that is desperately needed in this country today and especially in the White House. It would take a woman to clean up the mess from Bush and past politicians, and Sarah Palin is the woman we need. She did all Americans proud tonight and really put Obama in his place!

So proud of her, but still my question, where does that leave us....Alaska proud, women proud, mom's proud, US proud....She was flockin excellent..... I would defend her before, now not a problem.....have a son in the military through several regimes.....I am a military mom....

Default Alaskans win either way

The best part is that as Alaskans, we win either way.

If the McCain/Palin take the Whitehouse, we win as a country. If Obama and whatshisname win (increasingly less likely, IMHO), we get Sara back here in AK as gov.

As has been posted elsewhere, adding Palin to the ticket has lobbed a powerful grenade into the current battle of the culture war in the US. I just hope that her name on the ticket and more speeches like the recent one is what it takes to put the wind back into the sails of the conservatives.

This election isn't over, not by a long shot, no matter what the biased media would have us believe. They've had their knee pads on for Obama for so long they're starting to believe their own hype.

Default check the ADN site

Check the ADN site for some great pics of the gov. They've got stuff dating all the way back to her "onesey" days, kinda cute.

It's telling what you don't see in those photos, namely the horde of bodyguards/handlers/publicity hacks/hangers-on that accompany Obama everywhere he goes. When you see a shot of Sara, it's with regular folks, her family, the relatives. Not a crowd of biographers, spin-meisters and syncophants.
