Most of us don't drink it by the cup or bottle. It takes an absurd amount to turn your skin blue, depending on what type of CS they are using.
As for studies, I wouldn't expect the gov't interests to expend energy on this product, any more than they do on other alternative products. This is not a drug or a chemical that they can profit off of, plus they support dependency on the system via a sick population. They aren't interested in what leads to health or cures, other than to try to ban them.
