Uribe is the reason your family aren't attacked as much in Yarumal as in the past. Ok his tactics of security at no cost were deplorable but you can't argue with the result.

I've never heard of a Nazi introducing the a health service subsidy (Sisben) and investing in Afro-Colombian communities in Monteria and Choco.

Oh Please. I have no close family there so save your nonsense.

I have nothing to thank that piece of narcissist scum called Alvaro Uribe. If he brainwashed you because your family is "Paisa" and you think "paisas" are some sort of superior race that's another thing.

My family is Paisa descended (coffee country to be exact) although that has nothing to do with my opinion. I'm a staunch critic of Uribe and would never want to regress to a presidency with him or one of his cronies i.e. Zuluaga at the helm. However, I also have contempt for the irracional Uribe haters.

Before Uribe Colombia was a mess. There is no getting away from the advancement of Colombia under his presidency and I'm grateful that he counterbalanced the influence of Chavez-Lula-Kirchner-Correa-Morales-Ortega etc.
