Here is more proof that Arizona is a terrible place to live and/or visit. I am taking a two week road trip in July to Arizona to remind myself how terrible it is and did a Youtube search for Blue, Arizona. And this is what I found:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWdEMOzW3k0

It's a pretty cool song and music video, but I realized right away that they knew better by some key things. It doesn't look like it was shot any where I have seen in Arizona. If someone knows better, please correct me immediately.

The band already knew that Arizona would be a terrible place to shoot a music video, insert reason here _________________ (bad business climate, bad schools, bad something, anything). And of course the words of the song itself. How they can't stand Arizona dust and the need to get back home right away.

So yup, nothing but dust and other bad things in Arizona.

I think you covered the whiner list very nicely Colt!

Only one thing I'd add as a conclusion.....if one doesn't like a place for whatever reason(s), great, different strokes for different folks. But I'd suggest for that person to move along and find that place to reside where the "grass is greener" instead of being miserable/complaining all the time.

I think you pretty much covered it, but I'll add a few more:

* Too many fast drivers
* Too many aggressive drivers
* Too many idiots driving sports cars
* Too many idiots in pickup trucks
* Too many green grassy lawns
* Too much development
* Too much mining
* Too much airport noise
* Too much helicopter noise
* Too much jet noise from air force bases
* Too many dust storms
* Not enough labor unions
* Not enough funding for public education
* Not enough water conservation
* Not enough preservation of old buildings
* Not enough land preservation

Arizona isn't for everybody, nor is Phoenix representative of the entire state. The great thing about America, and to a lesser extent the world, is that you can move to places you do like. I recommend that.
