King Arthur was leaving Camelot to make an inspection tour of his kingdom. He had heard rumors about Guinevere's fidelity to him, so before he left he had her fitted with a specially made chastity belt which would castrate any man who attempted to penetrate her.
When Arthur returned from the trip, he had all the knights of the Round Table assembled in the courtyard. He ordered them to drop their pants so that he could determine if any of them had tried to mess around with the Queen. To Arthur's dismay he discovered that with the exception of Lancelot, every single knight had been castrated.
Arthur went over to Lancelot and said "Noble Frenchman, of all my retainers, you and you alone showed your love for the King by behaving with restraint and purity. Only you of all these knights found the inner strength to resist temptation. Tell us oh brave and loyal soul, how did you manage to do it?"
