I was very affraid of her after I had seen some of the comments she made. Things that would have been much more suited for church then the political arena.
It's okay, Freedom. June can help you work through those unresolved Oedipal urges. It's oh, so common to transfer those unconsious feelings onto other women. (Sarah Palen, Freedom. Sarah Palen.) Trust me, you'll be fine. Just fine. And if talk therapy doesn't help, there's always meds.

Barack has given speeches at churches. Do you have a double standard....
Have you heard him speak at the pulpit?
I don't know if its training or genetic, but he can get a congregation praising... kind of like a scene out of the Blues Brothers...
Well, as far as it might affect Ms. Palin's chances, the debate for me was mucho better than the previous three. It had at least some real content and emotion (Johnny almost got mad!)! They both got into some details, at last. I doubt that John McCain can overcome and halt the downwards inertia of his campaign, but he many have at least put the brakes on the death spiral.
Does Sarah help or hinder him I wonder? I think that a lot of folks who like her a lot are simply more energized or encouraged to go out and sincererly try to get her in there whenever jealous liberal pseudo-feminist women denegrate her needlessly. (Sorry June; given time, we can re-direct your mind...)
Possibly she needs to hang in there for 4 years, try to really come up to speed on foreign affairs (bigger window on the Russia side of her house?) and deepen her resource base, and then team up with someone waaayyy more charismatic than ol' John.
Hopefully she also won't lose the wink (The Wink!). I personally think it's the hottest thing I've seen in politics in many a year. Meh-bee even befur mah stint in th' Boer War, laddy!
On Nov 4, please please get out and vote folks! Remember, at least us posters here are skeptical thinkers par excellance !
PS to freedom: if I've got to be group-lumped in with anyone, it might as well be Ms. June. And of course her friendly oh-so-warm geese. it's hard to offend me. Less'n you try to take my few remaining sporting guns away (another thread, somewhere in a galaxy far far away).
Uhhh, NO... All the fine women i know, love to feed and cook for their families. They actually get pleasure doing for others.
Martha is no Sarah.... Martha isn't a public servant, she serves herself by offering a product, and acting like a snob.
I actually don't think what she did merited jail time... she was made an example of how a bitchy attitude can get peoples attention.
godspeed,
freedom
Not every woman wants to be 'stuck in the kitchen'. I don't plan on having a traditional family (I don't want children) and I cook for my boyfriend nearly every day. The days I don't cook, he does. It's fairly split between us. I don't believe EVERY woman's rightful place is in the kitchen and it's ridiculously silly to think that way.
And yes, a bitchy attitude gets women far, just look at Sara Palin.

Whaaaat? Did i say every woman.... i said the women i know enjoy the role of homemaker, and many that are not financially able wish they were.
I'm not some chauvenistic boob....let women be what they desire to be, even if they includes homemaker...
godspeed,
freedom
