So, I've been watching a bunch of video clips featuring Sarah Palin and - I have to admit - I have been totally wrong about her:

She's not all that attractive.

Ok, I have to admit that I watched Palin in that clip of the beauty contest in a bathing suit in the 80's and I did think she looked pretty good. If only someone could encourage her not to speak!

Well, I don't say that she's unattractive because I actually agree with you on that front. In fact, when Montana posted about her strange cheek bones I almost shot back that she has beautiful bone structure and the camera loves her. I would have gone on to say that if this politics thing doesn't work out for her then she could easily find a career as a TV actor (I only say that because you don't have to be a particularly good actor to be on TV as long as you look right). Anyway, yeah, I can't stand her politics but if she wins the election (god forbid) she'll be the best-looking woman in the White House (that I know of) since Jackie O.

Still, she's looking less appealing these days. Maybe she is haggard from her campaign - or maybe I am.

Oh - I was just talking about the "Republican base" that Palin has "energized" so well. I guess you're talking about all the Republicans who are embarrased by her. I know there are a lot of those.
