I watched the news this evening...I searched online for murders last night...I only found one - the convenience store owner murdered in his store. If there were two others, they must be a secret.

Crime is going to happen in a big city...most of us understand that and realize that it won't ever affect 99% of us.

I prefer to live where there are NO murders, I do not care if they were drug related, family related, money related, crazy related, gang related, drunk related, or any other related. You may want to rationalize murder and crime by blaming something for it. I do not care the cause, I run from it and refuse to live near it. Just a personal choice, we all have to make them.

Where did you find this crime-free utopia that you have chosen as your home?

The only way to live where there are no murders is to live in solitude, away from all people, and within an impenatrable fortress...sounds a little lonely to me.

Ah. Yes. Good luck with that.

I would suggest living in a farmhouse or cabin 20 miles from the nearest town.

Even the most peaceful small town or village can have Bad Things Happen when Joe Thug stops to get gas and decides the town gas station has a pretty cash register, and in your case that would appear to disqualify it from consideration.

I wish you luck in your quest. Such places exist, but they're more an accident of luck than location, IMO.

I don't think I've heard a gunshot fired in anger in 46+ years while living in various suburbs, some of them even in Atlanta.
