I’ve always wondered about Barrow County Airport in Winder growing into a commercial airport. It’s got Athens and Gainesville nearby which together are bigger than Macon, and has an advantage for a big part of Gwinnett. Seems like it offers a much more robust market for a second airport than something like Macon or Columbus, which seem like they’d never be viable as a second airport.

Instead of starting Delta’s new Tel Aviv flight in May, they’ve moved it forward to March.

Probably bodes well for the flight sticking around and hopefully getting more frequency.

Wow, that is awesome. Tel Aviv is very modern. I want one of those nice condos on the Mediterranean.

Looks like Delta is going double-daily to Sao Paulo from Atlanta, but I think the second frequency is only seasonal. Fruits of the LATAM partnership, presumably.

Delta resuming service to Düsseldorf and Stuttgart (the latter had already been announced I believe) and adding a flight to Edinburgh. That one is technically a service resumption but it hasn’t been flown in fifteen years so it feels like a new route.

Rumor Delta possibly looking at buying the 350-1000.

With things getting back to normal, they really could use them. It was a bit concerning when all the triple-7s left. While I certainly understood the purpose of changing them out, I was nervous about when things went back to normal and they were down a few ultra-long haulers.

I thought getting rid of all the 777s was odd as well. I wonder if they will bring Atlanta to Dubai back if they get 350-1000. I know this is a long shot, but Atlanta to Sydney would be an awesome addition.

"long shot" - "Atlanta to Sydney" - good one!
