So what was his plan? Rob them, and then get in line to buy the shoes? Solid.

I quite sure the guy wasn't going to steal the money and then wait in line for the shoes....

Yes, that is ghetto....what does that have to do with these cases though? I'm talking specifically about the city I live in. This is pathetic and sad that these are the stories that are showcasing Atlanta. It looks bad. Gunshots over 180 dollar shoes. If I was a person living in another city, I would assume Atlanta was full of hoodrats, especially after the Mall cop incident where something like that happened in downtown, very close to where all of the government buildings are. What other downtown have that element? Seattle? No. San Francisco may have a lot of homeless, but nothing as extreme as that. Certainly, not NYC. Chicago, it may bleed in once in a while, but not a recurring element. In Atlanta, its an element that lingers in the same areas everyday.

But the facts are right there. Atlanta is the 7th most dangerous city in the states. Most people aren't aware of this so they don't group it with Detroit and Chicago just yet.

Read between the lines. Paula Deen is in major trouble for the same thing.

I'm still wondering why traffic isn't get better or rent getting lower with if all this this stuff is killing Atlanta. People should be moving away in drives and no new people making rent and traffic great.

Most people are moving into the suburbs, not the city itself lol. If there are jobs, people will move to a city regardless and as I said, people aren't really aware of the crime index in Atlanta...it's very hidden in a way...most people don't automatically assume Atlanta is a rough city like they do Chicago, Detroit, Gary, Baltimore, etc, etc probably because it's a boomtown. The city is also relatively small so that could be why the crime index is so high....

I'm sure people research the crime before they move dude. There should be a mass exodus the way you are talking.
