Delta earned $5.5 BILLION in profits last year ... $50 million is nothing to them.

As usual, Fox isn't accurate. Try $38 million.

And this is chump change to a company about to give back over $1 Billion in employee bonuses for the 4th year in a row. I admire Delta for having a spine, and not backing down to these Bubbathugs.

Delta and Georgia need each other

Why Delta and Atlanta need each other - Mar. 1, 2018

So Atlanta is a very cost efficient airport. Delta is not likely to move operations else where

Georgia Governor Nathan Deal signed the state tax cut bill into law and says that he is going to continue to pursue the fuel tax break for Delta separately and calls it "non-negotiable."

Meanwhile Georgia Lt. Governor, President of the Georgia state Senate and current 2018 Georgia gubernatorial frontrunner Casey Cagle says that everyone knows where he stands on a possible fuel tax break for Delta and is not prepared to budge on the issue until Delta reinstates discounts for NRA members.

I am still in shock over an elected official so openly and unapologetically engaging in what is no less than outright extortion.

Plus, Atlanta's airport is well-designed and cheap for airlines, Kaplan explained.

"On the Monopoly board, Atlanta is Boardwalk," he said. "And Delta has it."

The guy's an idiot. A stubborn, pea brained idiot who shouldn't have been voted in to office in the first place. I'll be happy to see him gone.

He's putting the NRA ahead of Georgia's best interests.

Even the fake news king "CNN" has it at $50M, but I guess it's just pocket change so who really cares...
