There is a beach on the river... it is actual but surf boards may prove a hinderance to requirements. Same goes for Berlin.
There are an many such places in on the Brisbane River (The water is Salty as well) and a ton more fresh water rock pools and lakes as well with lovely sandy areas, though technically these are beaches, no one in there right mind would ever say they are going to the beach when having a dip in any of these places. Just as no one of sound mind would ever go to Paris to swim at a "beach".

Borderless in EU countries. Little fuss and most airports have first class public transit to city centres from their airport.
There are plenty of cheap deals from bucket shops in London. Melbourne hardly compares, but each to their own. 7 hours flight from London would be where do you imagine? Only in KL from Melbourne.
I’m from Seville lol. I know what I’m talking about. It’s not the same having surf beaches and ski resorts within 1-2 hours by car than going by plane and all the hassle that it brings. Melbourne has proper beaches not far from the city centre (Port Melbourne, Chelsea Beach, Half moon), some of them are much better than the ones in Barcelona, which its more recognised as being a beach city than Melbourne is. London has no beaches, and Brighton is rubbish compared to anywhere in Victoria or the ones I just mentioned .

Troubes knows more than you. He will drop by any minute with something about Seville from Wikipedia.

Did I say swim? Stay with the plot. It is going to' La Plage ', which is the beach Parisian style. To my thinking white sand equates a beach. Whether Brisbanites possess right minds or otherwise is besides the point. If they call what they have on the Brisbane River a beach or a' pissoir' is up to them.
The full monty (salt water and usual beach diversions) is a drive to' Paris by the Sea' a bit of a hike, but have certainly done a round trip by car a number of times.

La Plage is very well known, and its not a beach, You might be the only person in Australia who thinks as such. Certainly no one else on this forum agrees with you. I am waiting for your speech about all Seville's beaches next.

Obviously, with your posts included, it is far from well known. Any idea what' La Plage' could possibly mean?
When 'no one' as you infer 'agrees' with me on this forum, I know for sure I'm on a definite winner.

First bit if you say so. Second have little use for Wikipedia as a rule. But here to help eliminate ignorance in the quest to bring you up to speed.
