Aren't they classified as sports coupe? Plus, not sure but it looked like the top one had a trunk and not so much a hatchback type panel so I couldn't call any of these a hatchback.
A disel hatchback is best value (versatile/$) vehicle on the market IMHO.
I would have agreed if diesel didn't cost as much as super unleaded! Back in the day, diesel was considerably cheaper than regular gas but somehow in the last decade or so, greedy oil corporations made sure people with diesel cars wouldn't be getting sweet deals on gas!

I own a 2001 Camaro. They are classified as a sports coupe, yes, but the trunk isn't actually a trunk per se, since the glass is attached to the trunk, thus making it a hatchback.

I thought so too but it has been a while since I have seen one around. So the large back glass is a part of the so-called trunk? Then yes, it could be classified as a hatchback.

Those are called FASTbacks. The trunk angle is less than 45 degrees. If the trunk angle is 45 to 90 degrees then it is a HATCHback.

Yep, my point exactly. All of the Camaros and Firebird/Trans Ams from 1982 to 2002 are hatcbacks.
The Corevette has been a hatchback from at least 1981 to 2013 as far as I know. I think even the new 2014 model is still a hatchback. These are just a few of the American sports cars, I'm sure there are some foreign sports cars that are also hatchbacks.
The typical image someone generates when they think of a hatchback probably isn't that of a Corvette or Trans Am, but they come in all kinds.
If you define your sense of masculinity by the type of vehicle you drive then poor you.
I often drive my daughter's small hatchback around.
Does it worry me?
I've got enough self esteem to not even think about it.
