2000 VW Jetta TDI
I purchased it 4 years ago with 80k miles, it currently has 185k on it. As long as nothing major goes wrong I plan on driving it until it isn't financialy feasable. So basically I don't really plan on getting rid of it, anytime in the near future.

2001 Ford Excursion
Purchased it just shy of a year ago with 93k miles. It is our vacation hauler so it isn't driven a lot, maybe 10k a year. I'd like to see a minimum of another 5 years on this.

2007 Dodge Caliber RT (wifes car)
Purchased this 5 years ago with 40k miles. It's currently got 95k, car has been fine but we plan on keeping it one more year then move on to something else.

2000 Audi TT (#51/100 Neiman Marcus edition) 64,000 miles. I don't plan on ever getting rid of this car
2011 VW Sportwagen TDI 6 speed: 13,000 miles. I'll probably keep this car another 8 years before replacing it with something as functional, efficient and fun to drive. It will probably be another VW as the one before it was a 2001 GTI.

I don't plan on selling a car/truck....the time just comes. I kept my last truck 8 yrs/170K miles and I bought it new. I had 3 cars (2nd vehicles) in the same time frame that I had the truck. Cars can come/go and I will always just buy another but the truck was like a comfortable couch, just hard to get rid of especially after the 3rd year (it was paid for).

1: 55' Mercury Montclair. Have owned for 13 years, no intention of selling
2: 96' Toyota Tacoma with 255,000 miles. Bought new in 1996. intend to keep.
3: 2002 Prius. 155,000 miles. Intend to keep unless something horribly expensive goes wrong.

Acura Integra 1994 (19 yrs old, less than 150K miles). Still runs well so I can't bring myself to give it up for the measly $1500 to 2000 that I'll get for it. Very cheap insurance and state annual excise tax means I'm saving a lot of money.

I can't give a clear answer about my car because I'm thinking about another car I want to get, but as for my pickup, I bought it new in 2002, it has very low miles on it, and it looks and runs as good as the day I bought it, so I will keep it for as long as I am able to drive it.

Usually 3-4 years but my 2007 MDX has been such a great car. I was thinking the redesign was due around 2012 but it is 2014 so holding out.

2010 Ford Ranger w/33k miles
2008 Jeep Patriot w/78k miles

The Ranger replaced a Nissan Frontier when my wife drove up to my job in it - seems she was sick of the rattles and rust and traded it in behind my back - I could still be driving the Frontier but it's nice to have an A/T.

The Patriot will be paid off next month (!). We got the MaxCare warranty on it, so the powertrain and most other body components will be replaced at a $100 deductible forever, until the repair exceeds the value of the vehicle - that's when you get rid of a vehicle anyway.

We hope to drive them both until the wheels fly off and hurt somebody.
