1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z, bought new, 7,400 miles
1999 Jeep Cherokee, bought new, 96,500 miles
2005 Chrysler Crossfire, bought 2/25/13, 37,400 miles

The first two I will have until they die, or I do. The Crossfire will join the other two if it provides a good number of trouble free years.

1999 Toyota Tacoma 253K runs like a top and will not sell for any reason other than I don't need it any more.

Wow, and I thought my '91 was low mileage at 70,000!

My Mercedes has 182k miles and this engine/body has gone more than 1 million miles in some cases without a rebuild. So ehhhh, I don't know. It might outlive me. Hard to justifying getting rid of a car that consistently returns 30mpg and costs me virtually nothing other than fuel, tires and oil changes.

My thought is that I have to spend $500 for repairs from time to time for a starter, radiator, whatever, but it isn't every month like a car payment would be.

I love cars and have come to realize that I won't keep any car long. I have had a few cars pass 100,000 miles but I sold them shortly after. I've also never kept a car longer than four years.

I'm driving a '13 Tacoma which I could see myself keeping for a while. My wife is driving a '13 ATS and while we both like it I'm sure we'll replace it within a couple of years, perhaps with the new CTS V-sport so that we have a little more back seat room as our boys grow up. Our one vice is new cars, but I'm OK with that.
