I'll take a stab at it. When people become dependent on the largess of politicians, in order to survive, they tend to vote for those same politicians, to keep the flow going. When you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can always count on the support of Paul.

But it's more as a side effect of and decent human reaction to the creating of so many that can't support themselves.

You have to have an education to make money........the days of getting a lot of money for unskilled labor in the US are gone.

And companies pushing more profits for their shareholders. Not for their workers.

We've gone from the largest private employer in the US being GM in the 50's, to Walmart today.

Klacik is running in a District that is also Suburban, educated, and affluent. Some on here didn't get the memo..........

She'll have to build up her resume before the liberal voters of Baltimore and Howard Counties find her to be an acceptable candidate for public office. Time is on her side, unless her ultimate goal is to be a successful political pundit.
