Because everyone is in a hurry to join a team that only won 33 games in the EAST last year?

Love nixed any Cleveland trade....Lebron isn't stupid either to join a rebuild still in progress.

Even if cleveland drafted the right guy tonight, with lebron, irving, and parker/wiggins, they are not even close to being a championship team. its like miami all over again with 2.5 men and no bench, 2 other positions with weak players.

The NBA can rig the draft for the next 10 years giving Cleveland the #1 pick all day, everyday. They will never be playoff contenders. That city when it comes to sports is a graveyard of failures.

True but I think they could still bully their way out of the weak east. Indy just collapsed, a shell of what they were. Chicago rests on the health of Rose, which as we've seen these past few years just can't be counted on.

Who else would challenge that Cleveland team in the east?

You don't think the NBA would just love it if he went to Cleveland to try and win a championship there? Even the LeBron haters could respect that.

nah, now had he never left, that would be a different story. now it just looks like a pathetic attempt to draw revue to his home town.

lebron would be a fool to go to cleveland.

You don't think the Cleveland fans would embrace him for returning to the team?

for sure some of cleveland fans will flock to forgive him for leaving. then again, there are not exactly millions of cavs fans regardless of whos playing there.

keep in mind, the cavs only sold out the arena for an entire season once. that was the last year lebron was there, in a bid to try to talk him into staying.

hes not turning the franchise around if he goes back, and IMO he would lose a lot more fans outside of cleveland than what he would gain inside cleveland.

I think the NBA would love it if he were to return to Cleveland eventually and win a championship, but with what they have there now....ain't going to happen.

Besides, Lebron makes that decision, not the NBA....and NOBODY wants to go to Cleveland right now.

I'm not much of an NBA fan, but don't sell Cleveland short on anything right now. We're in the running for the Republican Convention, (it's now between us and Dallas) and while not a Republican myself (or Democrat for that matter) it would be a huge boost for the city to land it. But I digress... there is a lot of boom going on downtown, with a lot of new development. Trust me, I live in the region, and I assure you it's not by any means a ghost town, or on it's deathbed. Let's not forget we also got Johnny Football!
