Strip down buck nekked and toss your clothes in the washing machine.
After the spin cycle, put them on wet.
Wearing your damp clothing, walk to your kitchen.
Turn off the light and draw the shades.
Open your refrigerator door and unscrew the light.
Place a fan inside and turn it on high.
Stand in front of the chill air blowing on you in your damp clothes in the dark-- for oh, about 12 hours.
That's it.
If you enjoyed the test, you may have potential to survive from two weeks before Halloween thru July 4th every year, when the sun magically appears for 3 - 4 months.
Honestly it doesn't get humid like that in Seattle most days. The eastern part of the US is more humid than anything other than a few rainforests on the west coast. There IS a lot of mold, but I just didn't get that subjective sense of sogginess indoors, when I lived there.

It's currently what I call "chamber of commerce weather" here in the Cucamonga Valley: 84°, 12% RH, 28° DP under clear, sunny skies. The air is heavy with the sweet smell of citrus blossoms.

Puget Sound / Seattle have been my home / home base since 1970. And I say it Does get like that most of the year. Now, I suspect the difference in our opinions is your operant word "indoors". I spend as little time indoors as I can stand ... which, as I age, is why I get the hell out of the NW most of the time from October thru June. If a person lives inside, well, there are all kinds of ways to re-create an ambient atmospheric environment -- except one: actual outdoors.

Hello California ... I'm baaaack (as Ahnold would say)

No, I'm not back yet ... I fibbed ... to make a point. ... and won't be down this year until probably May ... later than I target, but I have some volunteer obligations in April up in Washington.

Would you believe I don't like Mac-nuts? Mac computers, yes. I'm an almonds and pecans man. Another California connection.

What?? You lied?!?!? Well, you're missing some pretty fine weather here, that's all I can say. Just got back from a very nice walk in the sun.

Nuts in California? Oh heck ya! We have plenty of those and some are even grown on trees.
