My brother, after living in Orange County for years, tried to sell me on In N Out. Wasn't bad, but I was not impressed. My nondescript local burger joint kills it. I have a hard time seeing it as the worst though...

After you eat at in an out a couple of hundred more times you will understand the glory involved in consuming a double double. Keep up the hard work and soon you too can accept in n out burger as the one true burger joint.

Not so much, false equivalency at its finest. One is beloved and has the most loyal following of any burger joint, the other people dont go there for the food.

Yes, those who have been lured down the wrong path must duly acknowledge such, absolve of admiration for the heretical, and thusly begin the trip down the path to salvation, to bask in the glory of the one and only true omniscient, perfect Burger, for it is only Burger which is the true King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Repent, pray forgiveness, reach out from the culinary darkness and touch the divine righteousness, and exhalt in the light that is...{{{Burger}}}. By In n Out.

Little known fact: that's inscribed on the bottom on the secret menu cups. Yea, I have walked through the valley of the shadow of Mac, thy lard and focus group researched bliss point meat patties emanating from multiple continents no longer comfort me.

I bet your local joint doesn't sell their burges for less than $2.00!! That is the point: price and freshness. they make their own buns, cut the potatoes and form their own patties. And still the price for a regular burger is cheap. No one is claiming it is the same as a $5.00 or $10 burger.
