Its not just the fans, its survey after survey, celebrity chef polls, consumer reports, zagats. What really set them apart is quality, consistency, value, and service. You dont get that at Carls or BK or Whataburg. Certainly no 5 guys.
He's forgotten already, and for others this is just some quick google research (there are countless more). And even the ones they dont win, they are at or near the top.

The 10 Best Fast Food Restaurants in America
#1) In-N-Out Burger
One of the cruelest April Fool’s jokes to New Yorkers a few years ago was the announcement by an anonymous prankster that In-N-Out Burger was going to open a location in the Big Apple. The top burger chain in the country, however, actually wants to remain small and confines itself to the West Coast. The quality of its food helped it win this highly coveted spot.

In-N-Out Ranks Higher Than Facebook And Apple On New List Of Best Places To Work
You probably wouldn't expect a fast-food joint to rank higher than Facebook or Apple as a great place to work.
But In-N-Out Burger topped both of those companies, and many others, in a new ranking by the job site Glassdoor of the 50 best places to work. In-N-Out placed eighth on the list, which was topped by Google and the Boston consulting firm Bain & Co.

All you can do now is delete your post.
Nobody would ever wear a I hate in n out burger t shirt. If they did, they would be barred from eating at in n out burger. That would lead to a miserable excuse of a life for eternity. Only sad pathetic creatures can survive without the sustenance of in n out burger.

On the subject of that picture. Whats up with the 1950s decor? If they were trying for a retro look, that would be fine. But I have a feeling they have just never bothered to update their stores. It just looks so dated.

In-N-Out is just like Walmart. It's hard to think of anything positive to say about it.
