I'm as left as one can be on the political spectrum so i'm sure you know who i'm gonna vote for!

And to all the women out there who are planning to vote for Hillary because she's a woman, please reconsider. That she is a woman (is she really?) is totally irrelevant. Yes, it would be so cool to have our first female president. Just as it was great to have our first black president. Monumental. Even if you can't stand President Obama, realize how redeeming it was that this country, with its deplorable history of slavery and all the racism that continued after slavery was abolished (and continues ), voted for an African American man. Although i must say that if President Obama's skin had been a lot darker, i don't think he would have been elected. I love this country but i'm also ashamed of it.

If Elizabeth Warren had run, i'm fairly sure she could have become the first U.S. female president. I'm so disappointed that she chose not to. Now was the time for her (and the country), imo.

I think i heard correctly (on the news last night) that Latino, black and other "minority" (not for long or maybe not even now? ... deal with it) voters are supporting H. Clinton and not Bernie Sanders. What the what?!!!!

So all of you democratic and independent female, black, latino, etc., voters who want Hillary as president just 'cause she's a gal (or just 'cause), please wake up and take a good hard look at who you plan to vote for and ask yourself why? And why not Bernie Sanders. O.k.? O.K..

The problem is (and it's a big one) that the chances of Bernie Sanders winning the general election seem slim to none. But that's what they said about Obama right? It's unfortunate that people who like and believe in Bernie Sanders will vote for Hillary for the democratic nominee because they don't think Bernie can win the office. If everyone who wants him as president votes for him despite the fact that they think he can't win the presidency, he may prevail.
I am in an enviable position. I favor no candidate. I enjoy Trumps presentations as they are shaking up the establishment. Both parties. I see just a couple who "might" improve things, buit even then it is doubtful as the power in DC rests with others. Yes a president can do some unilateral good, but also bad, as we have sen year after year with every president. Many complain that fewer people vote each year, but for many it is because: A. no truly decent candidate is available and B. nothing will change much regardless of who wins. Now I have to keep studying as to how I can help my employees who's health plans have been turned into trash and the costs went up.

I'll admit that I haven't watched more than a few seconds of any debate (having no tv will do that to you), but even if you think Trump is the greatest thing since (insert guilt pleasure), doesn't he give off a "used car salesman" vibe to you?

Why is that enviable? That basically translates to either apathy or unproductive cynicism. Neither of which translates to good citizenship.

You favor no candidate and yet favor Trump's presentations. You think that "shaking up" the electoral process by preaching bigotry, sexism, and disrespect for the disabled, former POW's, any and all political opposition, and for anyone else who voices disagreement is productive for bringing the nation together and for maintaining quality foreign relations? Crude public behavior is a good thing in the political process?

I don't have one either. Where did that once popular bumper sticker, "kill your television" go?
He gives off a stench worse than that of a used car salesman. He's a p. i. g. pig! (although that's an insult to a fairly cool animal)
And if he hadn't been on his reality t.v. show for so many years, he wouldn't be in the position that he's now in.

I don't trust people whose hair has a more complex makeup than their personality. This should be one of life's simpler truths.

A little vanity in a man is o.k. ... just a little. He's got the weirdest approach to balding on the planet i think. Well, maybe not as weird as that spray on hair that they used to advertise on t.v. years ago.

Ever considered going south and writing for the big or little screen? Perish the thought but just sayin'.

Likewise no tee-vee here.

Not much hair topside either.
Buzz-cut.

Actual reality works for me. No tee-vee or hairdo required.

Honestly, for the life of me, I cannot see what some like in Trump when all I see is an egotistical showman and circus clown. And yet he hasn't gone away or self-imploded like the Rick Perrys, Sarah Palins or other such oddballs. But then when you look at the other GOP'ers, you must ask, what do conservatives have as substantive alternatives? It's like the field is wide open and ripe for someone else... like Trump. It's sort of the lessor of two or three evils I am starting to think for my conservative brethren. And if they were really honest, I think would admit to as much. While they might not really like any of the candidates, they absolutely *hate* Hillary and Bernie. So what are they left with? Yep, you got it, it's Trump. He's not a politician like Bush, Cruz, et al. And then I heard this which really helped clarify the attraction, regardless of substance:
