Today’s message from Newsom, for Southern Cal, Orange County is not in this list. So much for spikes.

That’s pretty interesting. LA was partly due to increased testing and there were quite a few increases in nursing homes and prisons.

They finally called out one county, Riverside, partly because of the protests.

Sounds like a spike to me, considering it's 4x as high as the highest Bay Area county (Alameda, 111 new cases)

Regardless, every county listed by Newsom is in Southern California, not Northern.

The spike in Orange County wasn't quite as bad as the OC Health Agency had stated, since prior deaths were inaccurately reported as being current ones. So, for example, 26 deaths did not really happen on a single day.

OC just introduced a new website that is supposed to much more comprehensive (For example, death reports by zipcode), and it's also said to eliminate this type of error.

People have a constitutional right to peacefully protest Mike, they don't have a constitutional right to go to the beach.

There’s also freedom of religion in the constitution. If you can go protest, open the churches. You can’t have it both ways where you can protest but keep the churches closed.
Where does it says in the constitution you can protest unless it impacts someone else in that case you can't protest? Also i agree about the churches, they should never have closed.

Read the link again, there are 15 counties in total, there are some in Norcal one of them I noticed was Santa Clara County.
You go by absolute number, do you realize OC is a large county compared to other counties.
