Of course you won't.

I don't think they get it at all. They view masks as efficient as a vaccine. There is no logic here just pure emotion. It has become tribal with them. Either with us or against us.

CDC no longer holds water with them.

I suppose I thought Americans had a higher degree of intellect and compassion for one another than turned out to be the case. Yes, my standards were too high.

High-risk people are hurrying for a 4th shot, probably with added urgency due to how reckless the general population is becoming. I'm going to 'check' anyone seeking to spread misinformation. Each shot so far has provided more protection against infection, including new variants. However, protection is less and shorter-lasting against the most recent variants. Some of those vaccine 'fans' who have poor immune systems should get the Shield instead, but they presumably haven't heard of it.

I think you've set a record for posts on one thread, congrats. I don't think the "boosters" even cover the variants now.

You're wrong. Long ago I even posted a link to a New York Times article about the short-term protection, and research has since suggested that variant-specific immunity is kind of a red herring. When you are wrong, you should back off. Vaccine misinformation spreads and leads to dangerous health decisions.

Like masks are better than vaccines, got it.

What? I and no one I know said masks are better than vaccines. It's possible that, a few months in, an N95 provides more protection against infection than a booster dose of vaccine does or the Pfizer vaccine for kids, which turns out to be very weak protection against infection. I doubt it's been studied, it might not even be ethical to do that study, and the smart money is to use both.

They're words of honesty - the real world has many gray areas - and a demand for data that probably cannot exist is moving the goalposts. You made multiple false claims and then lash out at me. You're welcome to shut up.

Analysis requires data. There is no "gray area". Data that can be measured. Maybe, might, perhaps, could, possibly cannot be measured. The thing of fairy tales and paranoia. Big foot, Loch Ness Monster.
