I would love for that interviewer to find me. I might ask him some Canadian history questions he doesn't have on the tip of his tongue. For example, what event triggered the 1958 election where Diefenbaker achieved a majority (the answer is that Lester Pearson, as minority leader, attached a rider to a Government bill, which passed. Pearson considered the passage of the bill to be a vote of non-confidence and requested a chance to form a minority government. Diefenbaker advised an election, which the GG then called). I doubt that this CBC interview could handle a reverse-interview.
You do know that is from This Hour has 22 Minutes? A comedy show? That Rick Mercer is a comedian??
Did you notice the oven was set to the Fahrenheit scale?
Mouldy, they all are, they always have been. The more modern ones here today have both F and C settings on them now but the F settings are in larger letters and numbers.
.
They usually are. Default setting for the
(North) American market.
Same goes for pool equipment and such.
Household thermostats too but they tend to be switched to Celsius by most people.
Same goes for your car's operating system.
My oven is Celsius only. Oh, those Germans and yes, it's a digital display. It also has a favourite button, where you can program your favourite recipe temps etc. Being German, you are only allowed ONE favourite. Sigh.

That's some really low hanging off-color fruit you have there. Germans, ovens, one temperature setting. I can't believe you did nazi that one coming...

How big is that? Is that a counter top convection oven or a full size stove?
I don't think I'd like only Celsius on my oven - my brain is pre-programmed to Fahrenheit and Imperial measures.

Omg, hahahaha! Even *I* didn't see that -- and I'm Jewish! I even repped Nat and said that I couldn't stop laughing at the last line. I must be as tired as I think I am.
