We scrapped the idea of giving my treatment another month. I had a CT, my mets are in my liver now. I have "numerous" (translates to too many to count) lesions in both lobes, with the largest a (small) 1.6 cm. Tomorrow I am having a liver biopsy. I've wanted to have a biopsy, but since my bone lesions were lytic (holes) there was nothing to biopsy. I have not responded to anti-hormonal treatment at, maybe tomorrows biopsy will answer the question why.
Big fat waste of time, and it HURT! Not nearly as fun as I thought it would be LOL The biopsy came back negative because there wasn't enough cells. I'm not willing to try again. I had my heart ECHO this morning, met with my Oncologist, and started my new chemo Doxil.
No! They didn't! Just a local numbing agent. Sheesh! I was sooooooo looking forward to anesthesia LOL If I ever have to do another liver biopsy I'll be sure to bring my own supply of the "good drugs"!
