I also agree with the seperate feedings...I do it with the cats and the 2 dogs we have. It is a good way to see if they are all eating okay and if their eating habits change suddenly. If my 4 legged family members aren't eating well its my immediate first flag to watch them for any other issues so I can get them to the vet asap.
