I was a huge Karen Carpenter fan. When she died, I was more numb than anything else. She also died suddenly from cardiac arrest. It wasn't until several years later that I actually cried about it. Kinda strange that it took that long.

I cry to the last song that Luther Vandross made: Dance With My Father.

A touching and loving message to his deceased father.

I cried for weeks over death of Diana in '97. Last summer when Paul Newman died I cried a lot. Cried twice today over deaths of Farrah and Michael. Teared up earlier in week over death of Ed McMahon.

YouTube - Michael Jackson-Smooth criminal

what a sound

This is off topic and disrespectful. Please find another thread to put your judgments in. Thank you.

it's best to just ignore some people. You know the vile creatures with HUGE chips on their shoulders. The mad at the world type of people.
Easier to ignore them.
Easier to have compassion than carry around anger.
Life is shorter than we think.........

I'm surprised Aaliyah has so many fans on here.

I didn't cry but I was very sad for a long while. Her star was getting bigger, she was going from an R&B artist to an actress. She seemed so sweet, not at all diva-like. I still miss her and think about her on her anniversary.

Left-Eye's death saddened me immensely. I was/am a HUGE TLC fan- ever since I was 12 years old. Beyonce & Destiny's Child don't cut it for me. I was pleased to see that she was finding peace in her life out there in Guatamala before she died tragically.

I don't forsee crying over anyone's death except Mariah who is my favorite artist bar none. I know I will be a wreck.

Tupac-as I recall I sobbed longer for him than my own dad in one time frame.Over the course of the years of course I'm still grieving my father.I think too,the tragedy surrounding a death affects me. Also,I miss Micheal Jackson and cried a couple of times so far.

John Lennon, because he spoke and sang of peace.

And was murdered.
