Yes every time I drive I see folks breaking our traffic laws..Some are hogging the lanes as this post talks about. some are speeding, some talking on the cell phone, some texting etc etc. I say if you see someone doing these things write down their tag number and report it to the cops

I bet the cops have you blocked from 911. All you do is talk about calling the cops over nonsense.

I am sure this will get everybody united in an uproar,
but the civilized drivers of european countries just
come up behind you , blink their hi beam real quick, you move over
asap and everybody is happy.

For this to work one needs educated drivers and from my experience
driving on 485 that is a 50/50 chance.

it's just that easy. or should be, anyways. actually coming back from the airport the other day on 85 I was doing 80 the whole way and as I approached cars (no tailgating) they simply moved right, let me pass, then moved back. everyone was happy. of course, that has been a rare occasion for me here in CLT, usually some mo-mo is doing 60 in the left lane. if I was driving only 80 ANYWHERE in jersey I'd be buried alive.

It's probably true. They have to pass a real drivers test in Europe. Here in NC, even an illegal alien can get a license handed to them now. It's not like the illegals care much about the laws.

it should be but it's not. Far too often I see a left lane bomber refuse to move over like they are on rails.

That's why we have all the good footage of the Russian meteor. This would be good to at least shame someone by putting their license plate on the YouTube.

You don't need that much, just a POS. I had a '79 Cherokee Chief, driving through traffic on the highway was like parting the Red Sea in that big red bastard.
