They are basically circle-K but with a slightly better food section. They've been in VA for a long time

Wawa is infilling the gap from Virginia to Florida, expanding in the Carolinas and Georgia, mainly along the I-95 corridor and coastal regions. It is unlikely they will venture much further west, as they do not typically overlap with QuikTrip. However I am curious if they will venture into the Triangle in NC.

Also still wondering if Wegmans may still be speculated for Charlotte.

Sheetz is a slightly classier QT, and Royal Farms is a cheap knockoff of Cumberland Farms.

I work up north sometimes, and Cumberland Farms has all the typical stuff, but also has self-branded dairy and tea stuff you can't get anywhere else and it's all organic non-GMO based.. I stock up for long drives there every time I see one. I think it's sourced from ME, NJ, and OH agricultural regions; which is where I work when up there.

Royal Farms is known for very good fried chicken and potato wedges and I think they may be expanding from Tidewater Virginia into the NC coastal regions.

Royal Farms is expanding into South Jersey, where they're competing with Tim Hortons and Wawa.

I am curious if they will venture to the Charlotte region or remain focused on expanding in eastern NC. It seems they are looking at the I-95 corridor and the coastal regions, but perhaps Raleigh-Durham and the Triangle region could be a possibility. Typically Wawa and QuikTrip do not overlap in territory, but an alleged agreement is unconfirmed.
