I have tickets for Jason Mraz this coming Tuesday. I've driven by the venue and read the articles, it looks like it will be a fantastic venue, but I was curious if anyone has actually been there for a performance yet.

It's great and being a few blocks from my house I'll be there often.

Have you seen the lineup they have set for the future? It's a virtual who's who of the music industry.

I saw the Offspring there a couple of weeks ago as well. Great venue. My new favorite in Charlotte. I would go with lawn tickets since those are great seats for a smaller price tag. Unlike Verizon, you can actually see the performance from the lawn.

I didn't quite know where this was until last week. Funny thing is a guy owed me money and told me to meet him in a parking lot of a group of industrial buildings. Gave me a street address and said you needed to make a sharp (right, left?) which I didn't do at Seaboard. If you do what I did you're in a construction ditch.LOL. Went around and under the overpass and passed the Music Factory. My guy was only about a half block down. But where is this lawn you mentioned?
Perhaps I missed it b/c I was concentrating on getting my money.

John

The place is awesome. A friend of mine just signed his lease for a cigar lounge. There are many more things to come that are already in the works.

There is suppose to be a bar/pool hall going in to where the old Citadin office was located. The pool tables will be upstairs and the bar downstairs. It will be right across the street from Crave. Shh... don't tell anyone I told ya, it's suppose to be a secret and the permits are in the works.

I posted this pic on another thread, but you can see the lawn here. Its the grassy area behind the amphitheater.
