The Flemington, NJ circle.... nightmare during high traffic but otherwise a great idea.

I learned to drive on 4. The driving instructor would have me do Ellisburg circle, Racetrack circle, Airport circle, back to Racetrack circle, to Ellisburg circle, to Marlton circle, then repeat it as long as time allowed. Ellisburg was the worst in the state & airport circle was the 2nd worst. 3 have been removed.

Another thing, a shopping center parking lot is not a racetrack, you don't drive 50 mph unless you intend to rob the joint or kill someone.....GET IT! "

This drives me nuts. No pun intended. And not just backing the car out, but just walking in a parking lot. I was walking to my car in my apartment complex when a car turned the corner, speeding almost ran me over. I had to jump back to avoid getting hit. I jumped so hard, my back was hurting the whole day. I mean really, people, when driving in parking lots at least be mindful of children playing who could possibly be running in between cars.

I also noticed out here people will pull out in front of my car, almost to the point where I have to brake hard to avoid rear ending them, while there's no one behind me! Why not wait the few seconds till I pass then pull out? I don't get it.
I've noticed this exact same thing, and it's especially horrible in parking decks. I've purposefully avoided going to certain places uptown (at least at certain times) because of this, in cases when a deck is the only viable place to park. Some of the decks are overly tight to navigate but peoples' reckless driving and whizzing around with absolutely no regard or respect for anyone's safety doesn't help.

You can always tell the drivers that haven't traveled. They are the ones that say that Charlotte drivers are terrible. If they had been to other places, they would know that American drivers suck in all places.

Yep! I agree! I live in Phoenix and Charlotte drivers are so much worse. They are so aggressive. I've had the horn honking at lights before. I mean I didn't even have a chance to take my foot off the brake and the ride driver behind me was honking away. *smh*

I've sat behind many a driver at a stop light whose sole concern is the phone in their hand, not the pretty shade of green displayed above for all in the line to see. Yes, my horn get's a workout during those episodes. My trigger for horn use at a green light is two chimpanzees, on the third, they get a blast if they aren't moving. Chimpanzee is appropriate because the monkey's uncle in front of me shouldn't be driving in traffic without begin aware of the signal change.

Especially any drivers who are second in line and sit there while the first car has gone.

Two quick horn toots are better than one long one.
