He never denigrated anything or anyone, but He DID correct the harmful beliefs about God and God's nature. You reject His corrections to your own peril. We are to TRY to achieve the PERFECT love Jesus possessed and some of the beliefs you retain from our primitive ancestors corrupt that love. The worst part about that is that you THINK you are doing what God wants but it is what our primitive ancestors believed God wants.

When? When He was overturning the tables? Calling the Pharisees vipers? Prophesying the destruction of Jerusalem with it's 1.5 million inhabitants? You know He said He only said what He heard His Father speak, right? So WHO prophesied the destruction of Jerusalem? When exactly did G-d stop expecting righteousness and start condoning sin? When He did He stop judging the flesh? Have you bothered to read Revelation? Oh, I forgot that's not one of your cherry picked scriptures is it?

Your G-d is a figment of your imagination, a one-sided cardboard cutout. Peace

Interfering with vendors corrupting God's house and calling out Pharisees for leading others astray are consistent with love. He harmed no one ever. Since He KNEW what the Romans would do He was able to predict it. God stopped counting our sins against us after Jesus died and was Born Again as Spirit to be the Comforter sent in His name to guide us to the truth God has "written in our hearts." Jesus reconciled the human race to God so there was no more need to concern ourselves with "missing the mark." Jesus HIT the mark. He was our designated hitter and He hit a Grand Slam. We will reap whatever we sow and do not repent of, but that is it. We are saved as by fire thanks to Jesus - your concern over judgment and all the LSD hallucinations in Revelation notwithstanding.

Well i know that spirit when i see em.
There is no honor in a man attacking a faithfull obedient sister in Christ.

And you have just lost a great deal by allowing that tongue of yours to curse a member of the Body.

Not only do I not understand your posts, but you seem unable to understand mine. I did NOT attack or curse anyone. I expressed my views that God IS love and NOT any of the primitive nonsense written about Him in the OT or any of the absurd hallucinations about judgment in Revelation.

If G-d turned Pharaoh's heart, prophesied He was sending them into Egyptian then Babylonian captivity (all through the HG no less), why is it you think He couldn't and didn't prophesy the destruction of Jerusalem? Your god is too small and powerless, a cardboard cutout of your imagination. We were told that everything that happened to the Jews was for OUR instruction, and that includes the destruction of Jerusalem. If that was a "random act" by the will of the Romans, then the will of man is stronger than the will of G-d.

So you're calling John a liar again? Peace

it is probably really baptism of .. water (passover red sea ) , wind( breath )pentacost ,and the last will be fire( tabernacles , Sukkot ) .. the spirit wind Baruch is the one that renews us with a new spirit that will last past the fires of the last baptism ( Tabernalces/ sukkah ) a full covering not just a pillar outside of them .... but a full covering and indwelling fire that once lead them now consumes them and renews them . Strong's Hebrew: 7307. ?????? (ruach) -- breath, wind, spirit

the tongues of fire are just to represent the spirit and or breath of God like at creation ,, a new creation is created by that ongoing breath to or inner beings.. as we
"Come let us reason together , though your sins be as scarlet they shall be made white as snow" as you argue it out with him his breath on our souls changes us from
the inside out. .

We are the candle of the Lord; Pentecost is lighting His candle. Got fire? (I know you do). Peace

The baptisms of water and fire represent cleaning and purification.

By the baptism of water one experiences in conversion to the faith in this life and a cleansing away of the old nature and as a consecration. The baptism of water could also be understood as a typification of the judgment of God on the earth by means of water during the deluge of Noah, wherein God cleansed the world of wickedness.

The baptism of fire represents the judgment of fire which will come upon the world to judge the works of men in the fullness of times. It will likewise purify and sanctify the world once again, to the restoration of all things in Christ.

The baptism of the spirit itself is process of renewal that is the inner transformation accomplished in the other two "types" of Baptism.

What is important to note is that the fire and water baptisms are symbolic and represent the purifying and cleansing power of Gods Judgment.

It is not a literal observance of these rituals that is important so much as understanding the spiritual realities which they typify.

The significance is that of cleansing and purifying and sanctifying and consecrating all things to God in Christ.

Peace ...

What and when were the 3 baptisms for Christ?
