The "prophets" Enoch and Elijah went to "heaven" without death. In the case of Elijah, "God" sent down a flying "chariot of fire" to pick him up. Being that chariots don't fly (especially chariots that are on fire); I'd say "something else" picked up these "prophets" and took them to "heaven". If this was the case, I'd say that "heaven" is space.
It's within you and outside of you but no one can see it.

God is Love. When you walk in Love, you are in God, and God is in you. This is why heaven is in you, too. Where God is, there is heaven.
God said, "what house will you build Me?? I built all things!!"
So you are His temple; heaven is in your heart.

The "church" still can't figure out that God doesn't dwell in buildings, they still don't understand that MAN is God's temple, and they certainly don't want to listen to Him and obey Him who ought to be rising in them!

You are right, God is indeed everywhere, and He is the Maker of everything.
But what God is most interested in, however, is your heart. Man's problems all come from within the heart. That's why we must look there! We will find either Christ there, or flesh/devil.
He is faithful, and if we draw close to Him there, He will draw close to us.
This is how we overcome the flesh, there is no other way.
