Amen. He is alive and well in the unconscious (conscience) of every single human being. He is being disregarded by many . . . but He will bring them all into the fold.
Even though Christ will give up his reign to the father so that the father can be all and in all when at last all things are made subject to him, he will always reign in my heart.
Just for clarification..Universalism is NOT forbidden to be discussed in these forums..What is forbidden is denominational bashing. We do not censor, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists, Catholic, Pentecostals or any Christian denomination here
My Bible tells me that Jesus will reign until the Kingdom is ready to hand over to God the Father. It says that "His Kingdom will last forever" but it doesn't say that He will reign over it forever.

Yes it does. In eternity future both God the Father and Jesus Christ - God the Son rule forever. Revelation 22:1 'And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb (Jesus Christ).
Revelation 22:3 'And there shall no longer be any curse; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His bond-servants shall serve Him;'
And not only will Jesus Christ rule forever, but so will the believer who as one of His eternal rewards, will co-reign with Jesus.
Revelation 22:5 'And there shall no longer be any night; and they shall not have need of the light of a lamp nor the light of the sun, because the Lord God shall illumine them; and they shall reign forever and ever.
The phrase forever and ever is an idiomatic expression of eternity future, translated as such from the phrase 'eis tous aionas ton aionon.' - for the ages of ages.
Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible says the following.
and they shall reign for ever and ever; they are made kings now, and in this state they shall reign with Christ for the space of a thousand years; and when they are ended, they shall not cease to reign; nor will Christ, when he delivers up the kingdom to the Father, for his and their kingdom is an everlasting one, Revelation 1:6 and here ends the account of this glorious state of things; what follows is the conclusion of the whole book. Revelation 22:5 Bible Commentary
In Hebrews 1:8 God the Father said the following of Jesus Christ. ''But of the Son He says, ''Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever...''
In the Davidic covenant, God promised David that his kingdom would be established forever. That he would have a son (descendant) who would sit on the throne forever. That descendant is Jesus Christ and the Davidic covenant is fulfilled when Jesus Christ begins His Millennial reign. And after the Millennium is over, Jesus continues to reign on the throne of David through out the eternal future. Here is a brief look at the Davidic covenant. What is the Davidic covenant?

What the greek scriptures really say is ...
Quote:
But of the Son He says, ''Thy throne, O God, is to the age of the age; a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy reign''
The traditions of men and the false religion built around them will tell you that "to the age of the age"(singular/singular) means "for ever", as well as "to the ages of the ages"(plural/plural), and "to the age of the ages"(singular/plural) ...
This is a deception from Satan which is designed to confuse the truth of the gospel concerning Gods plan and purpose for the ages ... Do not be deceived by the false religion and traditions of men.

Philippians 1:10 says (ASV margin), "so that ye may distinguish the things that differ." Since the words of God are inspired and are used precisely, to ignore the differences in these passages is to ignore what He is saying.
Dr. Nigel Turner, in his book, Grammatical Insights into the N.T., says (p. 91), "eis involves a movement for development toward a goal." If eis means as far as, to the extent of, or a movement or development toward a goal, then it cannot be used with words meaning endless or unlimited time.

Yes it does.....all Jesus hands over to the Father is the kingdom of Sin and death, the one His enemies reigned over.....hence.. under His feet...after that....He reigns forever.
