Amen. Not that difficult to comprehend, is it? In black and white, plain as day. You would have to be blind to miss it. Literally. Peace

The probloem is like all other fundamentalist you don't and worse still you will not acknowledge glaring contradictions in it too, because your belief system comes tumbling down like a house of cards.
Jesus was 100% right when he said men loved darkness over light. You fundies thought he was referring to those who have no faith, but your dead wrong he was referring to you guys, that to see any of you actually reason would be a miracle, never mind be open and honest to examine what you believe in the light of Jesus Christ, but no you won't, you love the bible to much to do this.

Do you not notice the condescending attitude you have toward us? Is that loving? Do you believe you're a loving guy when all you do is tell us how we believe, and why we are inferior?

No. I believe the Bible. I know of no contradictions in it.

Indeed, it is not difficult to comprehend, He died "because of," not for, as in a substitute.
The more I hear fundamentalists say - the more ludicrous they become in their thinking.

And yours is one of exaggeration.

Yet, the Bible actually SAYS he was the propitiation for our sins. That he took the punishment.

I understand your reasoning as you see the Scriptures as being the word of GOD.
Whereas, I see them as the ideologies of men and their particular perceptions.

In other words, I was not taught that they are Infallible or Inerrant.
Neither do I see them as such, given the nature of men.

And you'd rather believe some guy that lives in 2017 over the apostles that walked and talked with Jesus?

Condescending to say that you are not willing to at least be open and reasonable to address glaring contradictions within the scriptures?. Tell me how the parts that clearly contradict each other can possibly be inspired and dictated by God. Don't be so conscending towards me and insult my intelligence with any crap answer such as God's ways are higher than ours, for though that statement is true, that is not the correct answer. Just like punishment needs blood shed else you're done is not the correct answer.
