And the point remains that there is a range of response. When the question is not about experimenting with sex, but about a commitment to a life then we need to ask why a commitment to a homosexual relationship is any more wrong than a commitment to a heterosexual one. The difference is between absolute attraction and curiosity and passing curiostiy is not a factor in making commitments.
So that means everyone has had a homosexual though at one time or another, but the difference is that homosexuals committed the homosexual act?
What i am asking is that having a gay thought does not make you gay?
Sex outside of marriage is wrong, period....no matter what gender you are. The Bible does not recognize "orientation"....just sin. If you do the deed, you're sinning.

Not quite. The gay does not just "commit" the act, it is who they are as a person, just as any heterosexual who had the "hetero thought" did not decide to be a heterosexual simply because they had sex with someone.
Everyone has gay thoughts once in a while, but what separates gays from straights is that gays choose to dwell on the thought, and then had same sex relations.
Wheras a straight person did not dwell on the thoughts.
So,having gay sexual thoughts does not make you gay,its the action of sleeping with the same sex that does.
If you are attracted to the same sex you are gay. If you are attracted to both sexes you are bisexual. If you have and occasional thought about the same sex, you are bi-curious.
You do not have to engage in any activity to be gay.

Or is it the action itself(having sex with a member of the same sex as yourself) that makes you gay?
I'm trying to find out from a Christian point of view. I treid to post on the Relationship forum but I didn't understand.
I remember reading on a Christian website that its the sex act itself that makes you a homosexual.
I'm confused.
Does that mean virgins can't be gay because they have not had any sex?
I see all these teens who say they are gay but they are virgins.
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
You might just be METROSEXUAL!
More than likely it means you are NORMAL...
