Well, you claimed the Bible said that sexual immorality destroyed nations. Which ones?
Care to explain to me why this question is so important and relevant? The verse doesn't specify which nations. It would be the early Canaanite groups and what we do know is they were all wiped out.
They may be able to develop some type of emotional connection, but certainly not physically without taking health risks. If we are going to be honest here then promiscuity has long been associated with gays so how can you maintain a close emotional bond when you are out there sharing your body all over the place?
Here is the thing I find quite interesting. Any recent study regarding homosexuality nowadays is extremely supportive of them. A decade ago, it was quite different. I can't find a single recent study regarding promiscuity. You know why? Because the evidence is so clear that they don't want people to know that legalized SSM hasn't led to monogamy and less risky behavior. That's denying the truth.
Well if you recommend it, I certainly won't read it.
We have no desire to treat them differently. We just don't want to have to participate in their sinful lifestyle on any level even if that involves something like baking a wedding cake or signing consent to marriage license.
You continue to be disingenuous that the world not only has changed, but continues to change despite your attempt to keep it set in 1515.
So what if homosexual sex is fraught with personal risks? Are you out there warning people about bungee jumping, or skydiving, or even playing football? There is personal risk in many things--we don't say it is sin even though it may be foolish.
Mel White and his partner (perhaps husband now) have been together--faithfully according to Mel--for over 25 years. Or how about Jim Nabors and his partner--38 years of loyalty---that beats a lot of heterosexual marriages. Several homosexuals have been on these threads and have mentioned their own faithfulness for many years.
Your necessity to keep bringing up homosexual promiscuity is, I believe, because you are trying to keep your own desires in check. Guess what--use a condom. In the world, as I have provided factual information to you before, there are as many women as men with HIV. The split is 50-50 because of the older continent of Africa from which it arose has steadfastly refused to use condoms. Some estimates are that 15% of the population in some nations has HIV. Why not in the U.S.? Is your "godly" influence preventing sex from happening in the U.S.?

And I'm sure you won't read Mel White's biography. You lie constantly about "loving" them in the name of Jesus, but refuse any opportunity to educate yourself about them. That is the mark of a fool. Even if you don't agree with them--and BECAUSE you claim homosexuality is a sin--you should know more about them than any person on this thread. That is what an honest person who claims they "love" homosexuals in the name of Jesus while wholeheartedly condemning them to hell would do.
Here is my prediction--HIV will continue to fall in the U.S. for a couple of reasons. Of course, the education is helpful in this country, but now that homosexuals can marry, committed relationships don't have to be "in the closet" because of fundamentalist efforts to destabilize family life for them. Second, it continues to fall as a percentage of the population because the number of people being affected remains about 50,000 nationwide every year for the past decade in spite of population growth. (same source as above). The promiscuity of heterosexual people has risen dramatically since the 1960's. The trend among homosexuals should now be downward.

Jesus DID address the kind of sin you are involved in --but you prefer to concentrate on six controversial, interpretive driven biblical verses about THEM instead of working to get your own life right with God.
Just accept yourself and practice safe sex--or continue to beat yourself up like other99. It's an unhappy existence, but then most fundamentalists are desirous of making everyone else just as unhappy as they themselves are---because they haven't found the peace that passes all understanding.

Because you brought it up, and I don't recall anything being taught in History class about a country being destroyed because they were sexually immoral. Had that happened, I would think history would have recorded it.
