Oh goody!! A guy who is famous because he was on a popular TV show is telling wives what they must do?
Lol...whatever Kirk. You get to say what you want (it's a great country)...those of us who have other opinions get to ignore you (it's a really great country).
I find this highly amusing! "Hi, I'm Kirk Cameron. You probably know me as Mike Sever on the hit ABC sitcom 'Growing Pains.' Because I'm famous and all, my opinion is way more important than yours! I'm right and everyone else is wrong. Now let me tell you how to live your life!"
Gotta admit, just about everyone everywhere would like an ever expanding list of people who will do whatever we tell them to without questioning us. At the very least, the idea seems awfully appealing pretty much everyone. I think we the men have been guilty of scratching that itch for thousands of years now and it's not a good thing.
The really roundabout thing we should take away is that husbands and wives really should be more respectful and kind to each other.

I'm not sure Kirk has ever said anything like that. He does have a solid knowledge of the Scriptures, though. He speaks from that.
If you want to learn about evolution, the Big Bang, abiogenesis, and scientific theory you don't go to an internet forum to do it. But you already know that.
You are obviously connected to the internet, so use the amazing tool sitting right in front of you as you read this and research the above, using credible sources of information (ie not Christian sources attempting to explain why evolution is wrong). Start at the elementary level if you have to. Go to the library. Attend a lecture.
But if you really wanted to learn, you would have already done that.
I, on the other hand, have spent decades researching religion, from all different perspectives and sources, because I wanted to learn. I don't spout off on subjects I have no knowledge of.
Sorry to say but you did spout off a couple of times on assumptions about the Bible that were simply wrong. If decades of research didn't get you to the point that satan wasn't created evil according to the Bible, then I feel sorry for those wasted decades. Where are you doing your research?? I can help you out if you want , but if you really wanted to learn.. blah blah..

Sounds like pretty much all of Hollywood. I couldn't care less what they think.
So you are saying Kirk is wrong in his interpretation of submission?
No, I'm saying Hollywood thinks we care what they think.
