Yes, Jesus was sent by His Father to witness to the 'post', as well as the 'lost' sheep of the house of Israel. If you would read a little more of the NT, you would learn that Jesus reached out to the Jew first, and then the Gentile. He and His apostles witnessed and converted many Jews and Gentiles, both in Jewish and Gentile lands.
He did by his spirit and his disciples and the billions of christians converted not at the point of the sword but at the lions dens at the stake is reason enough to know he was there every second, revealing to his followers even at their last breath that he was with them. even as they died at the hands of even the same Jews Jesus had offered to save by giving them the invitation first.

A little something that you may not realize, but the lost sheep of the House Of Israel were not the Pharasee and Saddusee....So, they didn't reject him, according to your NT...

Jesus did indeed come to save the ‘lost’ sheep of Israelfirst. He also went to the Gentile lands to perform healings and to feed the4,000. The Gentiles there received Him with more faith than His ‘own’ people.
He appeared to Paul, a Pharisee, and told him to witness tothe Gentiles as well as the Jews.

Peter was initially influencedby the Judaizers, but then he witnessed the Holy Spirit descending on theGentile as well as Jewish believers. Peter was also shown that he should notcall ‘unclean’ that which the Lord calls ‘clean’.
Jesus said that He would be killed by the Jewish leaders asthey killed John the Baptist. So yes, Jesus was sent first to the Jews, buttheir leaders rejected and killed Him, so the Gentiles were grafted into Hisplan of redemption.

This has nothing to do with what I posted...And it's a mess with all the tags...
I find it amusing that some Jews (a 'Jew' being a person of the paternal lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) will insist that Jesus came for the Jews only and not the Gentiles, and then proceed to reject Him, similar to the Jewish leaders of the time when Jesus walked the earth.

I am just pointing out what your New Testament says, that most of you Christians tend to ignore in favor of what you have been taught...Your own New Testament has him stating that he was sent only to the lost sheep of the House of Israel...
No, a Jew is not a descendant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob only, but a Jew is one who follows HaShem's Torah and His Feasts and His Sabbaths...
The Israelites did not come into being until Mt. Sinai...The name "Jew" came from the tribe of Judah...
Jewish leaders of the time?...Well, there you go, he came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel only...So, he wasn't concerned with those others...
