Sinning hurts Jesus, by all accounts.

If you love Jesus, you should just say "NO!" to sin and stop hurting him.

We should. But we have a sin nature and we cannot. You demonstrate daily with your snarky attacks on me and others that you certainly have not stopped.

I think the King fish might just be right, and what is it that he hasn't stopped? Why don't I ever have a problem with Trout?

I know you right about our sinful nature, but then I don't have the Holy spirit while millions of others claim to have the Holy spirit, and those who received the Holy spirit were different, they were given help to overcome their sin by the power of the Holy spirit, and when people think they have this same power, they are held to a much higher standard that scares me.

A Call to Maturity~ Hebrews 6
1Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3And this will we do, if God permit. 4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

For myself, I have never tasted that power even though I was convinced I had the Holy spirit for 40 years, I found out that I didn't, and I am thankful for this because anyone who obtained the Holy spirit were held to a much higher standard because of the fact that the spirit gave the person power to mature and overcome his sins, and I have never found this power within myself.

I don't sin. I reprove and correct fundies.

Sin is obviously in the eye of the beholder.

Lying is a sin. You've just sinned.

I don't pray to Mary. She was a sinful human being just like you and me.

Thank you, and back at 'cha. Ain't that the truth? Every times lions open their mouths, stuff some word in there. That's the only way they're going to eat like a lamb. Peace

Let's make that 36 hail Mary's, do you somehow pretend you aren't Catholic?

HUMPH, imagine that.

I grew up Catholic, but left the Catholic church as a young man. I've been a Baptist for about 30 years now.
