Jeff, since this is predominantly a christian populated country, why do christians breed gay children and why do christian dads screw their daughters?

I’m just wondering if the likes of Jeffrey and Mr Jarber are just envious of the freedom homosexuals have , being what they believe are, whether believing Christ or not. Fundies need to have a window cleaner come clean their windows, the world will look different to them then.

It does make you wonder about their thought process? Then again, they have always condemned the innocent.
Although, we are not talking about all Christians, just the extreme fundamentalists of various religions.

I'm guilty of generalizing, but it is difficult not to do so on this forum. I thought i was an extreme fundamentalist in my day, but this forum attracts what i would have been ashamed of in my fundy days. Anyway, forgetting that which is past.

I believe that is the type of discrimination that is being discussed here, and it's not directed at you personally or legal cases regarding businesses, but at how Christians treat LGBT vs. heterosexual people.

We (especially we older folks) do still have issues with getting pronouns correct with some of our non-binary and gender fluid folks. We lost a community member a year or so ago because of this. But they was a bit testy on the issue much of the time, and it made it more difficult. People still keep them in prayer. They has another source of community locally.

One of our older Caribbean ladies was assisting a white gender fluid person just growing hair longer, with a new hairstyle last week after church. They are both Vestry and or past Vestry members.

Being gay isn't a sin, as evidenced by current science. You will not find a single reputable psychiatrist, psychologist, or medical professional who will tell you that being gay is wrong. You will find an army of them telling you that forcing people to be straight is extremely harmful. This feels like the flat earth argument at times. Science has spoken on this one.

But there are lots of other sins. All the expensive cars (greed) and the big houses that could surely house the poor... I mean, there are really rich people sitting next to people who are on the verge of homelessness where I go to church, and I don't see them opening their houses. Then the gluttony and obesity that is draining our health care system. Then we'll have to do urine tests to see who is using drugs and alcohol. THAT should be interesting. I"ll talk to the pastor about confiscating people's computers and phones and looking at their search history. What will we find, I wonder? Porn, hate, all manner of darkness.

Oh for the love of God, why is it so hard for you to see the double standard and the truth that ALL of that will be filling pews this morning and welcomed with hugs and smiles. All of this will always be filling the pews, it will never be any other way, because it is the human condition for which the remedy is God's LOVE, not God's rule book. The rule book never healed a single soul.

What rots the church from the inside is placing obstacles to God's love.
Outstanding witness to the Truth, kmom!

Question!

Deuteronomy 25:11-12 is where the law against a girl literally grabbing her man's attacker by the kiwis is found. My question is more about the laws in general, but, was this so often an occurrence that they had to make a law telling women to stop doing it? Or did Moses, after the Golden Calf incident think to himself "well who knows what they'll do next?" and proceed accordingly?
